CLOTHING STYLE :: Caitlin dresses for comfort, yet will not be caught wearing anything shabby. She doesn't dress to attract attention or to give anyone the wrong idea. Mostly when not wearing her Hogwarts robes, she wears jeans with a colorful t shirt and warm sweater.
FATHER :: Neville Longbottom, 30's, landlord of the Leaky Cauldron, sides with the order. Cate loves her fathers many stories of his adventures and misadventures at Hogwarts, and her fathers love for herbology is contaigous.[/blockquote]

MAGICAL HIGHS & LOWS :: Caitlin loves herbology as she has heard all about it from her father since she was old enough to talk. She also likes charms, History of Magic and DADA, althouh she has to work hard to get good marks in DADA. History is facinating to her as there is so much that can be learned from it.
One subject Kate can't stand would be potions. For her, it seems like there is no application for it after school. The same applies for Ancient Runes although she's been told that she has a knack for it.
SPECIAL ABILITIES :: None, she's just an ordinary witch
PATRONUS :: caitlin's patronus takes on the shape of a duck. She doesn't know exactly why. She was taught by both her parents in this advanced magic.
OTHER TALENTS :: Well, a few years ago, Cait taught herself how to crochet, and she gradually kept at this hobby as it had quite a calming effect on her anxiety. She doesn't bother hiding this fact and can make a variety of things with just a hook and yarn and no magic!
Cate is quite the dueler. Even though school isn't always easy, charms is quite her favourite subject and she loves looking and memorizing spells that will help her in almost any situation ranging from fighting off a Death Eater to hexing her siblings when they annoy her.

--Rain: it has a calming effect and makes the world seem brighter after it has rained.
--Family: Family is very important to Cate as they are always there for her.
--Quidditch: A many summers days have been spent on a broom, an even though she loves the game, she refuses to play it competitively.
--Cold: it seems much more bearable than heat and easier to concentrate. She was also born on the coldest day in April.
--Swimming: it is very calming and it also keeps her in shape.
--Friends: almost important as family, except they tend to break your heart more.
--Plants: She inherited her fathers love of plants and find their many uses interesting.
--Aminals: They are soft and cuddly and aren't nearly as demanding as humans.
--Magic: It is such a useful thing to posses!
DISLIKES ::
--Heat: It is absolutely unbearable and makes things hard to focus.
--Tests: these things send Caitlin's anxiety through the roof and not enjoyable.
--Stress: Cate hates how she becomes snappy and shuts down when she is stressed cause she sometimes doesn't know how to handle it.
--Distractions: Sure she may be patient, but that doesn't mean she can concentrate. When Cate loses a train of thought it often stays lost and she can't re-concentrate.
--Quiet people: You never know what they are thinking, or are capable of doing. Makes her uneasy.
--Pessimists: Sure, sometimes life sucks, but it does get better. They just make things worse.
--Attention Seekers: Honestly, give someone else a chance to speak already! It's not all about you.
--Slackers: Just do the work and get it over with.
PARAGRAPH FORMAT :: Cate can be very naive and will fall for almost any sincere story. (In her first year a boy told her that the little saplings that were near the Entrance were spawns of the Whomping Willow and that they would often attack unprovoked, and she swallowed the story whole.) Unlike her parents, Caitlin is very outgoing. She tends to greet people with a friendly smile to break the ice. She will often be the person to speak her mind or to break the awkward silence, although she knows when its a good time to keep her mouth shut.
Even though she does like social gatherings, if it gets too loud or crowded, she gets panicked and will immediately seek an out. Which brings us to Catie's anxiety. She has high anxiety during stressful or pressure times like tests, or large, loud gatherings which causes her to become flustered and panic. Her two main strategies to calm down are to go swimming or to crochet.
Cait is fiercely loyal and will never break her word. She trusts too easily and is forgiving of the past, as well as very patient when it comes to people. She is also forgetful which doesn't add very well to making test-taking an enjoyable experience.
Caitlin likes boys and finds most of them to be funny and elsy to hang around, but she doesn't like that drama of boyfriend / girlfriend, breakups and all that, so she often befriends guys without worrying too much if they end up becoming more later on. She hates when people skip the friends part and go straight to dating. For her, the friendship before hand is just as important, if not more, than the dating part. It practically goes without saying that she hates when guys take advantage of girls and vise versa. In her eyes they are cold hearted people..

HISTORY ::
Caitlin Ariadne Longbottom was born on April 15th in London to parents Neville and Hannah Longbottom as the second child and first daughter. Caitlin loved living in the Leaky Cauldron, even if it was rather small. She enjoyed visiting with the people that came to the Leaky Cauldron and was constantly chatting with them. One of her best friends she met there when she was six. His name was Ryan and he was a squib from a large wizard family that stayed there for a good month during the summer. Caitlin was a rather late bloomer magic-wise and the two became fast friends, with her standing up for him to any teasers, and Ryan helping her with her anxiety. Eventually the family moved to Eastern Europe and the two lost contact.
From an early age, Katie helped out at the Leaky Cauldron, often doing the work by hand when her parents wouldn’t enchant the broom or wash bucket for her. They would often claim with a smile that it helped her build character. The bonus to all that work was that she got paid and eventually had enough money to buy her own little cat, which she named Ayla. She loves the cat more than anything and they are seldom apart. Nights would often be spent listening to Dad’s Herbology stories or Mom and Dad’s stories of their time in the Dumbledore’s Army and how they bravely fought against the Dark Lord. They have always been Katy’s hero’s and that is why she has pledged allegiance to the Order and is not neutral or with the Dark Lords followers.
The Longbottoms would often stay at their home in Godric’s Hollow, and there the children would play alongside the children of the Potter’s and Weasley’s mainly. Sometimes Caitlin would join in with their Quidditch matches, but when she felt that they were getting too competitive for her, she would opt out and go see what the others were up too.
Cate loved walking down the many streets and peering into the numerous shops full of books, animals and clothes. They fascinated her and she loved watching the families going among their back to school shopping and all the excitement on their faces in August, and she couldn’t wait until she was finally old enough to get her Letter to Hogwarts. That day was one of the most glorious of her life and she was a ball of excitement for weeks on end! It did bother her, however, that her sister would still be stuck at home, but she knew that she would be in good hands.
She was sorted into Hufflepuff and was proud of this, as it suited her, and was just like her mum. School was always hard when it came to tests and exams and it would seem like she spent hours on end studying and even then she wouldn’t do too well. Homework assignments weren’t too bad as all the stuff she needed to know was directly at her disposal. Eventually she worked out a semi-working schedule that helps her with studying regularly.
